My name is Mark Mansfield, AKA the SilverPom; capturing the narrative.

This is a great time to be a landscape photographer, as more people are losing connection with the world around them, often satisfied with what they see or hear as the true narrative; a creative artist can bring the world to the people that may never see it for themselves.

This is also a personal transition, when I can move from the corporate world and back to a creative art I love, where I find so much peace. So instead of a view looking out across the skyscrapers of Sydney, I am settling into landscape photography in the Riverina.

In the past I have expressed my creativity in writing, which was a joy, but now I am enjoying a return to where I started my creative journey, photography.

In trying to capture the narrative I believe that the art of capturing the created, is in itself an art form. So I try to capture the mood and the story of what I see, not just an image.
